FRIENDS OF SACRED HEART

We would like to introduce FOSH (Friends of Sacred Heart) to any parents, carers and grandparents who may not know what we do.

We are a friendly bunch consisting of parents, grandparents and school staff who arrange activities and events throughout the school year to raise much needed funds for the school and your children.

All funds raised by FOSH goes back to the school and the children. In the past FOSH have contributed to school trips (to make it cheaper for parents), improved playground facilities, fund extra activities & events in school, Christmas presents for all the children, Easter and Christmas colouring competition prizes and much more.

A few examples of our fund raising over previous years include:

Toast (every Friday for 10p a slice), gift stalls for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas, film nights, discos, Christmas fair & summer festival, children’s book stall, Sacred Hearts got Talent, raffle & 100 club.

We really need more help and a Treasurer. If you can contribute any help with time, support, ideas (however small) it would be extremely appreciated. Even if you think you've nothing to offer please come to a meeting and you'll be surprised what you can contribute.

Coffee morning is every Friday 9 – 10.30am, it would be lovely to see some more faces and it’s a good way to get your children used to our fantastic and friendly school.

We also make the toast on a Friday morning for the children and work of a rota ,if any of you would like to help please let us know.
